ESAFA FIRST DIVISION
SIGHTHILL 3 0 PAVILION

 SIGHTHILL STUN PAVILION

The opening 45 minutes of the First Division ESAFA match between Sighthill and Pavilion at Ratho was dominated by the home team, but they were unable to to take advantage of their chances and the match remained goalless at half time.

Fifteen minutes into the second half and Sighthill opened their account.  From a corner, Steven Tansey latched onto a loose ball inside the penalty box and hit an unstoppable shot into the top left hand corner of the net.

Sighthill continued to dominate but from a rare breakaway from Pavilion, Martin Henderson, the Sighthill goalie, produced a wonderful block to deny the visitors an equaliser.

During the last 15 minutes, Sighthill's superiority shone through with another two well taken goals.  The first, a bullet header from Jamie Horton, followed good work from Scott Clarke.  Then with two minutes left, Grant Mcmillan ran on to a through ball, beat one man and placed the ball sweetly in the bottom right hand corner of the net. The final score was a well deserved 3-0 victory to Sighthill, leaving Sighthill's legendary manager Stewart Mackenzie a very happy man!
